- Son zamanlar çok moda, laik cumhuriyet.. Tek başına laik cumhuriyet benim için çok anlam ifade etmiyor. Laik cumhuriyeti savunanlar aynı ölçüde demokratik cumhuriyeti savunmak zorunda... Laik cumhuriyet diye bayrak açarsam demokratik cumhuriyeti dışlayabilirim. O nedenle hukuk devleti matematiksel olarak öne çıkar. Laik cumhuriyette, laiklik olmayabilir. Ama eğer hukuk devleti öne çıkarsa zaten mecburen laik cumhuriyeti savunursunuz. Demokrasinin olmazsa olmazıdır laiklik. Ama tek başına laiklik için demokrasi olmazsa olmaz değildir.

- 27 Nisan'da hukuk devleti ve demokrasiye kurşun sıkıldı. Bir partinin çok üst düzey yöneticileri bunun 'motamo arkasındayız' demiştiler. Bu yönetici 'artık müdahale istiyoruz' demişti. Tüm televizyonlarda da yayınlandı bu. 'Bu böyle gidemez artık müdahale şart' dedi. Nerede savcılar? Bu nedir, 'cumhuriyete karşı kalkışma'dır. Bu çok açıktır. Bu cumhuriyete ihanettir.
